Sebastian is a dentist with his own practice in Germany. One of the most digitized practices in the country. His clinical focus is on complex full-mouth rehabilitations where prosthodontics, esthetics, and digital workflows come together.
Board-certified specialist in prosthodontics (DGPro). Adjunct Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania. Published author, including in Quintessence of Dental Technology (QDT, 2026) on his practice’s treatment concept.
What drives him. Having the tools that make excellent treatment possible. RING was created because the most important tool was missing. The retractor he wanted to have himself, every day.
Married, two children. Plays golf, skis, most often with his family.

Dentist for over 40 years. Inventor of the world’s first flexible, latex-free lip and cheek retractor, today used in over 130 countries with over 100 million clinical applications. Multiple patents in dental product development.
With RING, Domonkos solved the fundamental constraint of his own earlier invention. How to manufacture a three-dimensional ring retractor from a single flat polymer part. Replacing the flexible membrane entirely with flexing struts in the same polymer.
The question wasn’t whether it could be done better. The question was: what would I build differently today, given what dentistry demands now?
